Officers from the Essex County OPP are proud to provide policing services to the communities of Kingsville, Lakeshore, Pelee Island and Tecumseh.
To meet the many challenges we face in delivering policing excellence, we are committed to innovation and focus on constant improvement. It is my hope that this web "forum" will represent one more tool in our arsenal as we move forward.
This past year we made several changes to our service delivery, including the creation of a Street Crimes unit, a Youth Crimes unit and a significant expansion of our Major Crime unit.
Our patrol officers utilize the intelligence-led policing model and community input to tailor their enforcement activities.
As many have seen, our Community Services officers are in your schools and in your community.
I would like to close by reiterating the commitment of the Ontario Provincial Police to earn your trust every day as we work together to maintain safe and secure communities.
